Me Femme

Sandwiched between reality and fantasy,
A tour from unconditional to unconventional love,
Neither sharing nor shading,
Almost solitude like a wounded lion,
The bruises that you gave
Left me with the deep cut scar,
I can see a brimming river cut a bank,
Possibilities and probabilities we dismissed
Are taken to the life court for Flemish now,
For all you do to me,
My heart wants to sink in you even now,
But my clever mind thoughtfully relates,
Predicts the painful days
That these dark days bring,
My clouds turn to droplets,
Recalling your lopsided smile,
For you call me crazy,
But actually I know the root,
The vindictiveness in you,
No more you can play the cards,
For I have learnt to read your books,
O’ me femme, heaven can never kiss earth,
Though Earth abodes in Milky Way.
