Is a beautiful world
With all the colors of a sunset
Shines beam down on my face
To greet me
The orange jumper they’re wearing embraces me
As the wind blows in my heart
Why can’t I be a part of their world?
Why can’t I eat passion fruit at the beach
As the waves lap onto the sand?
The heat melts from my body
As You walk by
Why do You have to involve Yourself
In my paradise
My dream
The dream that revolves in
My mind
I am the heat
And You, the passionfruit
I can’t be in your presence too long
Or your insides will rot faster
Than your looks
I may be
Selfish
Ugly
Guilty
Righteous
Bitter
Manipulative
But at least, behind their eyes
I shine like an eternal summer
