BEYOND,Into the light

The world behind-a shadowed cage,
A book still waiting to turn the page...
A child of dust, with a soul untamed,
A spark within, though still unnamed.
Beyond the breakage, beyond the tears,
She rises,facing her fears.
Her soul reaches out, a pull unseen,
The world awaits just beyond her dreams.

Shines beam down on my face

The orange jumper they’re wearing embraces me
As the wind blows in my heart
Why can’t I be a part of their world?
Why can’t I eat passion fruit at the beach
As the waves lap onto the sand?
