Lord lift the dark clouds and show us the route to go.

We know that there is heaven and that there is a hell,
But your the one we want to know and learn to love as well.

You said you would give us peace and tranquillity of the mind,
Beyond our understanding and love that's so sublime.

Life would then have meaning, no cross too much to bear,
