Under the first rain's gentle embrace,
I sat at the gate, a smile on my face,
Inhaling the earth's sweet, familiar scent,
"Mitti ki khushboo," a cherished event.
Once, I'd envisioned us dancing in the rain,
Laughing and walking, free from all pain,
But today, as the raindrops fell from above,
I found solace in nature, in the absence of love.
No thoughts of a future, no yearning for more,
Just the rain, the clouds, and the earth to explore,
A realization dawned as the rain washed away,
All that arrives must depart, come what may.
Alone, I sat, with fear and confusion in my heart,
Our love fading, drifting apart,
Yet the rain whispered a lesson, simple and true,
That everything passes, both the good and the blue.
