The chain tightens around and
Around my neck
No one to care, no one to love,
Not even a peck
And I can't blame them
For who would desire
To watch my soul fizzle out
Like a lacklustre fire
And who will care as I scream
Into this endless void of sadness
And though I dream
that they will miss me
The world will be full of gladness
At the thought of my face reduced to nothingness.
