Love Too Precious To Tell

We had a room for us alone,
Shabby and dirty and drab,
But when our love came in the door,
It changed into a palace grand.
The hour of loves uniting,
Is even too precious to tell,
We drifted, and drifted, and drifted,
And floated away on a cloud.
And then our second marriage dear,
Was just as sweet in its own way,
For it proclaimed to all the world,
That we belonged and we're life's mates,
Our honeymoon was oh so grand,
We traveled far and oh so well,
We loved and lived and slept the sleep,
Of two who were at last complete.
