You put them up,
Others try to take them down,
Some figure out ways to go around,
There within the center, you are bound.
Brick by brick,
After every trauma and many licks,
When you're down, the world seems to get its kicks,
No spark left in your fire, not even a flick.
In such great fear, you pick up a stick,
Only you can know how many bricks,
Walls are still in place,
You and you alone, try to fight off the human race.
