Whatever you needed to do...

And then you gave your word…
To our Lord above...
Made a sacred promised...
To be my forever love...

You told me I would be...
Forever the only one...
Never again would you be...
Just another man’s fun...

You said you felt...
Both complete and whole...
But now you go...
And pierce my soul...

I believed in you...
When you finally said...
No other man...
Would share our bed...

Then you broke the promise...
That you made to me...
That’s not how our trust...
Was supposed to be...

You ran off together...
With yet another man...
After we made...
Our life long forever plan...

So now you can go...
To his playpen..
But before too long...
He’ll trade you in...

I no longer want to see...
Your smiling face...
Don’t come running back...
To my forgiving embrace...
