This is beautiful. I'm not sure if it is by accident, but I love the implied meaning of taking red from purple flowers. Purple flowers reflect red and blue light, so the conclusion of this haiku is quite a nice touch. Extracting the reflected crimson light can be interpreted as imbuing yourself with the positive lessons, memories, or times of triumph that are associated with stigmas during difficult times.
