Loneliness

Losses and false compensations float in
Through my window and circle around me
In a room full of grey furniture where there
Are only gestures implying complex relations I try to move with the hard blues
And harsh yellows of day to get to the night
That will take today farther into another day
And then perhaps tomorrow I will understand,
Long after the time has passed
The eye of night will carve a new phantom
To haunt me but I will still remain alone
