Interweave

When the sidewalk ended,
All that was intrinsically complacent,
Sat with me, tea sipping
waiting for my morning call,
If an alarming voice was mine,
And my ears were not my own.

I do not ride the stars
As my light pierces space.
Rather, Darkness caged
I tried to shine, non-limiting bars of me
But in light of night there is no darkness
I stare at a fetile
One-eyed surrenderer
I stare at a sun
Am I both, or none?
There is no compromise,
And never can be.
I touched the edge,
There was none
I saw me,
And escaped it
I will never recall.
I will always remember.
I am, one eyed and fetile,
I will sever bars of steel
With my cord umbilical
I am darkness of starlight,
Propel me into orbit
