First Love

Decades ago,
on a twisted staircase
in the bleakest of winters,
my body seized.
an apparition of visual loveliness
stood in my path
Glaring eyes
unspoken words,
transmitted ecstasy
Politeness was our exit.
Thus began my first rendezvous with love.
Poised and delicate,
penetrating and piercing
arousing the unknown,
deep into the night
was our kiss
Desire was our passion
Caressing was our interval
All rivals were dismissed
These were moments of wealth
Now decades silence
I reminisce always
with a gentle mist.
upon my eyes
Images are all that remain
(can't read this line)
For she is Dead.
