so maybe I'm citing a nonexistent source,
but anyway,
say I add
one
grain of rice
to a bowl in front of you;
and ask,
"is that too much rice?"
no, of course not.
so the thought is this:
if I keep adding rice
to your bowl
and ask over
and over
again,
"is this too much?"
which grain of rice will it be?
will you end up with
just
the
right
amount
or
will you look down
at your too-full plate
and think,
"there's no way I could ever finish all of this."
will you try anyway?
