I heard something somewhere;
I just tried to look it up
but couldn't find it,
so maybe I'm citing a nonexistent source,
but anyway,
say I add
one
grain of rice

The futility of Joy

I lie at night with music playing,
I convince myself it is to inspire
to create or feel or help me sleep
Instead i use it to drown the thoughts from my mind
An empty canvas with bright colours
I lie with eyes open in the darkness
for to close them is to invite images to fill the void
When they are open i see nothing
but closed i can see everything
......

My room is so messy
But I can't seem to clean
I try to explain it,
But I can't say what I mean.
My room is too stuffy,
Outside is too cold,
The dishes need washing
Before they grow mold.

No reason is needed,
You don't find things fun,
Jokes go unheeded
You don't want to cry,
But you can't seem to smile,
You just kinda sit,
And stare at the wall for a while
