Galactic Traveler

I cautiously entered the infamous portal of time
On my way in
Ignoring cosmic law
Misaligned planets
Into a crooked line

Emboldened plucked shining meteorites from over my head
Examining them closely before tossing them like sand
Tones of god yellow, twilight green, space blue, and sunspot red
Cavorted with comets aflame across infinite star-sprinkled skies
Applauding the grand show in awe as the super nova’s filled my eyes

Secreted an asteroid belt in my left pocket when no one was looking
Arranged the wormholes to suit my schedule
As they would certainly be required
Stuck my head into the black holes disappointed at my findings
As the solemn metal rock asteroids in their dull orbit floated slowly by

Onward to the next galaxy some say composed of a hundred suns
Watching the battle between multi-colored double stars
A galactic traveler
The winter solstice has just begun.
