All these years you spent with me
while you were alive on earth
you taught me the wisdom of the soul
and gave me the vision of foresight
now that you have departed from
this world your spirit continues to
call out to me when I am asleep

the silence within as though you

in the middle of the night you are
carrying a beam of light which
cannot be seen through the naked eye

to return in want to complete
your unfinished dream

I can feel your deep emotions flowing
from within my heart as though

I am not afraid of the darkness
or the angel of death because you
are my shield and my cross to lead
my feet wherever I want to go

is not of my own but the fragments
of light which passes through

to reach out to the stars in the night
and gaze into the cloudless sky
like a window through my imagination
I have the power to shape the future
exactly how you want it to be
you are my inner strength and my hope
to remove the hurdles of fear
that I can escape the arrows of illusion
and not be defeated in this war
