A Nightmare

A year ago, when we celebrated our fifteenth marriage anniversay,
Some of our closest neighbors were invited to the party,
The couple that lived next door brought their daughter with them.
She was only sixteen but looked much maturer, about twenty.
She was gorgeous in every way one looked at her, in front or profile
Unfortunately to me, very much like my wife,
Fifteen years ago when I married her,
With the same innocence in body languages, laughs, smiles.....
Early next morning, my wife had to leave for a long business trip out of country.
Following up the news about the country of my wife's destination everyday.
I learned that a national strike was growing out of a small local company,
And that very night, my wife called me about the bad news.
Two nights later, I had a nightmare that has become a trauma for life.
My wife returned home at midnight without turning on the light,
Surprising me in her blue provocative night gown of our honeymoon night
Serpenting onto my body like our old days burning every inch of it alive..
As all hell broke loose with so many whoopies throughout the night
That when I wake up, the sun was quite high in the crystal clear blue sky,
And my young neighbor was standing behind her window in the same nightgown,
Blowing loving kisses and smiling, perhaps, hoping that my day would be like the sunshine!
