Kansas City is in Missouri
The Ohio River is in Kentucky
Confusion, it seems, is all around
Upon the river and in the town
The Hoosiers are scheming to set up shop
And harvest a casino money crop
A great interest could rage with jealous greed
As jackpots deliver toward the state need
Will the commonwealth share its front yard
To raise lucre and hope to cut the lard
As the Hoosiers throw dice in Kentucky
Will the colonel's also become lucky?
All bets down is the cry of the dealer
While out in Kentucky churns the sternwheeler
Ol' buddy if I were about to bet
I'd say Indiana is playing roulette
Kansas City is in Missouri
The Ohio River is in Kentucky
