Locked Hearts. Fate and Love,

While others chase their fates, seeking their heart’s true guide,
I linger in the quiet spaces, where hope still dares to hide.
Clinging to the thread of an old dream, I dare to believe,
That somehow, somewhere, our gazes will entwine and briefly cleave.

Before the world grows cold and distant, before time wears thin,
I yearn to see your eyes once more, to feel the spark within.
No words are needed, no sounds at all,
Just a single glance where our souls might fall.

For you, you taught me that even the sun and moon,
Each with its light, will shine in its own tune.
Their beauty doesn't waver, whether dusk or dawn,
And I too am learning where my own light has shone.

Through the agony of separation, I discovered grace,
In the emptiness, I found a love that could never be erased.
Though pain carved deep and hollowed out my chest,
The memory of us remains, a treasure, a silent quest.

You were the lesson in every tear I cried,
The reason I found strength when my heart was tied.
Though time has passed, and the years may grow old,
I hope, I pray, I still want to hold onto what we once were, bold.
