Wild Eyes

His wild eyes endure
The slightest imperfections that make her pure.
The sudden beam in her eyes
Travels across the plane like a dagger in disguise.

To no avail
Does his heart prevail
The space in his soul
That is out of control.

Uncertainty fills the void
Of a man that has been destroyed.
His love cannot conform
For it is greater than what was known.
