When a magician is faced with a destructive desire in himself, he is faced with a choice: to realize this desire and thus “fall”, move away from his Path, or to suppress this desire, and thus increase his shadow. Both options seem ineffective, both complicate both the incarnation and the afterlife of the creature. And every time in such a situation you have to make a choice between “bad and worst”, and the correctness of the choice made is often more than doubtful

Freedom of choice, and therefore control, exists only in the highest layer of the cosmos - in Atzilut. Only where there is still no duality of manifestation, there is no conditioning. All other layers only unfold, direct and condense the potencies set by Atzilut, and the embodied world provides an environment for its manifestation, and any attempts to limit the creative impulse mean a violation and distortion of the free flow of energy

The state of control is achieved through establishing a connection with this highest level - with the Logos of a given being, and this establishment of connection can occur during special searches, initiatory Rituals, or - be the result of a general cosmization of consciousness, which means that in order to specifically control your consciousness, not by creating dead ends and stagnation in it, it is necessary to gain access to its highest level

And for this aspiration, activity must come from above, you cannot just “want to become” a magician, you first need to hear and respond to the Call - that is, to establish primary contact between consciousness, ready to develop, and its Logos

The magician’s task is to remember the Call that called him to the Path, and to use it as Ariadne’s thread to enter a state of control, and therefore to increasingly increase his effectiveness
