For magician to talk about “reality” is to talk about awareness; changing awareness means choosing reality. The magical visualizations that underlie many Rituals are not just a way of creative thinking, they are a concrete way of transforming the flows of reality.

And when magicians say that reality is as we perceive it, they mean not a psychological, but a completely physical, energetic fact. In the same way, operating with “support points” - amulets, Names and Principles - this is the art of choosing the reality that it creates, in which a given manifestation of the Monad will exist

That is why magicians always talk about responsibility: every choice that consciousness makes, every point of its bifurcation is, in fact, a choice of the reality in which it will exist. Although individual consciousness as a total integrity exists simultaneously in all possible states, nevertheless, its general flow, consisting of all these manifestations, has its own general vector, and each manifestation makes its own contribution to it.

Accordingly, Magic - as the art of conscious choice of reality - is also the art of developing consciousness. Striving for awareness, the magician actively makes his choices, and therefore actively shapes the reality in which his awareness occurs. And, of course, the state of each of the countless manifestations of a given individuality affects both the individuality itself as a whole and each of its manifestations - this is what Magic means by “growth of the soul” and “accumulation of experience”
