On the physical plane, a person has two vehicles. The first of them is traditionally called the “physical”, and the second – the “etheric” or “vital” body. The ancient Egyptians called this vehicle "Ka" of man. It is on the basis of Ka that the Dream Body is built, it is Ka that is the basis in the formation of the “aura”

In the current state of development, Ka and the dense body are closely related to each other - they only together constitute the actual conductor of the physical plane, and neither of these two parts can exist completely independently of each other. On the one hand, Ka receives energy from a dense body, but on the other hand, it gives it the ability to receive energy, giving it the property of vitality

A person is active only on the physical plane precisely due to the presence of an additional conductor there, which creates a potential difference - a condition for all activity. On the planes of feelings and thoughts, consciousness so far perceives only these planes, and all its influence is rooted in the events of the physical plane, and will gain the ability to act actively only after the same separation of conductors

It is this division that, according to Rosicrucian ideas, will constitute the next step in human evolution. But so far all human activity is concentrated on the physical plane, and the source of this activity is precisely the Ka - the “vital body”
