the importance of Honor and Love

Without Power, no appearance is possible; Power is not a means, but a condition for realization, including the realization of one’s own potentials, the expansion of awareness. And it is clear that one of the main aspirations of the magician is precisely the desire to accumulate Power - that is, to his development, to his realization

However, besides Power, Magic does not deny the importance of other values - Honor, Love. A magician, who sacrifices Honor for the sake of Power, is doomed sooner or later to lose - failure to accept responsibility means abandonment of integrity, and this is the path to the destruction of his being

However, for a magician, love inevitably limits his individuality, selfhood, and therefore limits his Power, but such a limitation, nevertheless, being correctly directed, leads to an amazing result - by giving up the Power, limiting himself, the magician gains access to such deep sources, which he had never even suspected before, and it turns out that for love, it’s really not a pity to give up your life

The emptiness created by the separation of energies is suddenly filled, and the fullness, the integrity that arises in the being of a magician filled with love, is qualitatively different than the integrity of a magician who is focused on his differential self
