The growth of consciousness

Actualized, manifested being is denoted by the word "Macrocosm", and actualized consciousness is "Psychocosm", and both of these terms include an important component – "cosmos" — a term reflecting the idea of the orderliness of any manifestation. In fact, the terms "cosmos" and "manifestation" are synonymous in a certain sense

The evolution of matter taking place in the macrocosm - the emergence of planets, stars, minerals, plants, animals and humans is accompanied by an increase in the orderliness and complexity of the connections that exist between the individual components of the substance. Likewise, the evolution of consciousness means an increase and ordering of the connections that exist between the individual components of the psychocosmos

The growth of consciousness, its evolution, occurs then and only when all the elements contained in it, and all the connections between these elements, are mutually harmonious, do not weaken each other and do not interfere with each other

The orderliness of consciousness comes down to two points. The first is its hierarchy. The more developed consciousness is, the more semantic axes it has, that is, system-forming elements around which individual thoughts, feelings, inclinations, aspirations, etc. are built, and at the same time, the more these semantic axes are interconnected and subordinated to each other ideas of a higher order, led by a higher idea - the idea of self

The second important point is the potential difference. In manifested consciousness there must always be a driving force, an impulse. on the one hand, consciousness must clearly distinguish within itself the subject of knowledge, an active figure, separate from the reality it cognizes, a kind of transcendental deity, separated by an abyss from his creation - the world. At the same time, consciousness must clearly sense the original unity of all things and itself as a reflection of the Great Spirit
