The art of shaping reality

Magical practice is the art of shaping reality, creating and directing certain flows of probabilities, and therefore is an “objective” activity. But at the same time, the task of this activity is, first of all, the self-improvement of the magician’s consciousness. And it is precisely this duality of magical practice that lies the meaning of Magic as an art that improves the universe in both its aspects - macrocosmic and psychocosmic

Since from the point of view of Magic, development is the accumulation of Power, and the growth of Power occurs as a result of its induction, a significant part of the magician’s efforts is aimed precisely at finding power-inducing situations and their maximum use. From this point of view, the magician, on the one hand, is constantly busy searching, “hunting for power,” that is, tracking down and discovering flows, interaction with which can induce growth and actualization of consciousness in him, and on the other hand, he is constantly working on the consciousness, providing the possibility of its active and fruitful interaction with “external” flows

For a magician, the surroundings, the external manifestations of his activity are not only inspiring elements, but also direct inductors of his forces. Therefore, in any magical action, both the “direct”, realization flow, directed from consciousness to the environment, and the “reverse”, inducing flow, which is a response to the realization impact and serves as an impetus for subsequent changes, are equally important

Thus, the magician is both a hunter and an alchemist, who must develop both the skills of observation, tracking, and the ability to transform, transmute himself and his environment, and magical practice can be considered as the art of increasing Power, including three components: 1) ensuring the contact of flows - attracting certain influences and energies into the environment in which consciousness manifests itself; 2) establishing a resonance between the internal streams of consciousness and the “external” actors it needs; 3) ensuring mutual adjustment of flows, induction of the power of awareness, its growth and expansion
