Among the light hierarchies of Servant Spirits, there is one that is as necessary for human development as it is inaccessible to his consciousness. All magical traditions are faced with such Spirits, appearing at certain periods of Transitions, and guiding these transitions. They were called differently: Hierophants, Guardians of Tradition, Guide Spirits and belonged to the sphere of the Invisible Sephira Daath
The very concept of Daat (“Knowledge”) reflects the idea of the Drivers. Hidden Sephira - Daat lies in the middle of the Abyss, located between the Higher Sephira and the Sephira of Manifestation. Daath is neither a continuation of one of the states or aspects lying above, nor a level of consciousness, but at the same time a gate and barrier between the kingdom of complete Unity and the world of individual existence
When crossing the Abyss, accompanied by the complete collapse of a system (for example, a personality), this system may succumb to the fear of loss of individuality and identify with any part of its destroyed composition. This identification nullifies all efforts to cross the Chasm and this state is characterized by the individual’s absolute isolation of his ego; it is considered irreversible and is regarded as final spiritual death
That is why the Transition is carried out with the participation of special Forces - Drivers. Beginning with shamanic initiation, ending with highly organized initiatory mysteries of the Orders, each act of Transition is accompanied by the mysterious appearance of these Hierophants
Daath is a mobile Sephira that does not have a clear place on the Tree, its conditional position between Kether/Tiferet and Chokmah/Binah is rather a product of awareness of its role than actual existence, therefore the Initiating Spirits are related to any processes of transition. Whenever the Magician finds himself in a difficult state from the point of view of the path, an “existential crisis,” he calls on the Drivers, and their appearance indicates the right direction of movement
