Empty experience

The effectiveness of each individual being as a distinct aspect of the Great Spirit's self-knowledge can be determined by the degree of awareness of its existence, or, in other words, by the degree of presence of its consciousness in its being

The ordinary human consciousness, controlled by numerous destructive forces, only skims the surface of existence, only lightly touches it, generating small amounts of awareness and accumulating empty experience. Consciousness repeats the same algorithms, the same models over and over again, plays the same simple games in a narrow cycle of meaningless actions

Instead of plunging into the depths of existence, man plunges into the depths of activity, and it is activity that seems to be the measure of completeness, no matter how empty and meaningless this activity is

The main question that consciousness should ask itself is the awareness of “where am I now?” You can repeat as much as you like about the importance of the current moment, but this importance must move from the realm of ideas to the realm of action
