True Reflections

If every mirror on every wall,
Could show the truth to one and all.
Looking past what we disguise,
Show us truths and end the lies.

Please don’t show us only good,
Reflect much deeper, if you would.
Show our sins and show us lie,
Show times we hurt the other guy.

It’s not easy to see what’s true,
And yet I ask this task of you.
I might not like the things I see,
But it is what it is and I am me.

If we admit where we went wrong,
We evolve, becoming strong.
What would you see after all,
In the mirror on the wall ?
