Seeking Positive Change

What has Ireland goverment done to us?!
Killed our nations soul
Ripping us off of every cent

Don't have a mattress to lie on
Sleep on a couch, my makeshift bed, my home
I light a fire at night to keep me warm and bright

What do our forefathers think?!
A land they fought for and died
A land that is now crumbling at the seam

They can't think outside of the box
Too stubborn and proud to get expertise outside
As we continue to run the same wheel of destiny

We need to keep our minds strong
Keep positive thoughts at bay
Hoping that some day things will change
