True Love

Years have been many for them
And the time has changed things some,
But the vision before him
Is as fresh as rising sun.

In the mirror of his mind
Reflected through glass rims,
He sees the beauty of time
Unmarred by age of film.

His heart captured by her smile
That lingers ever so sweet,
Brings memories of each mile
And has made their life complete.

The stars in her eyes still shine,
Sometime her voice he can't hear.
But, he knows that down through time
Each year she becomes more dear.

He sees no wrinkles or fading,
Once brown, now grey is her hair.
True Love protects from invading -
And it places a halo there.
