the face of beauty

I saw you in a sunflower patch, light dancing off of your face. your smile and the sunshine were almost more than my eyes could take.
I saw you in a garden, birds sang above your head, and you laughed, as a butterfly landed on your outstretched hand-two creatures of beauty together for a moment in time.
I saw you in an open field, underneath the stars. time stood still, and we danced, as the moon illuminated us for all to see. you looked at me and I looked at you, two souls melted together and the world meant nothing.
I saw you by the ocean, waves crashed over your bare feet. I was in love with the world through your eyes, and you ran, as sand splashed up onto your legs. I saw you running straight to me.
