God's Tapestry

God weaves His masterpiece, each strand
purchased a great cost.
Saints He gathers from all nations
yellow, black, fair and brown.
They come from crowded cities, and
valleys isolated:
leaders of nations, laborers,
and the world's rejected,
We come as tangled, broken threads,
He makes a work of beauty. Beauty with added dimension
(limited not by time)
Moses, David, a captive maid,
Magdalene, you and I -
Chosen by the Artist
Selected for time and place.
Each, yielded to the Weaver's hand
"changed from glory to glory"
transformed into His likeness
shall radiate His love.
