I Need to Know the Reason

The silence in the street was shaping
All there was the beginning of rain
It hits my glasses but hot enough to blind me
I turned to my house slowly
Since there was no one to talk to
I took my time
Slowly I reached the door
And walked in
I was grateful I wasn't caught
For it poured after I closed the door
It was noon
And I was waiting for nothing
Except someone else's voice
All alone in this house has lost its appeal
But I don't need to be anyplace
Another poem; another drawing
I am bored with solitude
I crave someone since you left
And still wonder why you did
Only you can tell the reason
