America Compared

Greatest home of civilization ever,
Yet the meekest of all that is known,
With doors always opened to share her gifts,
With all peoples, in earth it has shown. With open arms she embraces all people,
Her know-hows are just there to be shared,
Even her rival boast of her social laws,
As divine among lessers she's feared. No foreign plenipotentiary,
Can say ought but good of this state,
But will find discontent, or some sort of protest,
At his borders, or city or gate. The profoundness of her leaders,
Her systems to satisfy all,
The resilience and love of her peoples,
Has made this civilization higher,
And greater and better than all.
