A reset on life, to start anew
To start clean.
A visible feeling of hope,
Happiness for days ahead.
Clean sheets, vacuumed rugs,
The smell of lavender, a fresh outdoor breeze.
A sense rare, but needed.
A new view on reality,
Peace in a physical feeling.

My toes in wool socks,
My legs warmed in sweatpants.
The ability to sleep and wake calmly,
The peaceful transition from consciousness to rest.
I try a reset in life, a new start,
Something different from consistency.
