"A Promise at Dawn"

Can I buy some of your love?
I don’t have any money,
but perhaps another currency will do.
Maybe you’d accept
a moonlit walk on a quiet beach,
just us two.

We’ll share a moment
under the silent sky,
where the stars are loud,
and the waves whisper,
embracing our feet
as we trace the shoreline.
Footprints linger in the sand,
each step a memory,
gently swept away
by the rising tide—
not forgotten,
but cherished, set free.

Each footprint made
is a moment
we can hold onto,
tiny treasures
to love a lifetime through.

And if that’s not enough,
what if I offered you
a simple sunrise—
my arms wrapped around you,
waiting for the light
to break open the horizon,
flooding the sky in purest glow,
with the sweetest hints of pink,
reminiscent of the beauty
that radiates from you?

We’d watch the world awaken
in that majestic glow,
and I’d promise,
in that fragile,
perfect moment,
to never let you go.
