Open her eyes at morning light...

Have you ever seen the grandpa
Share his wisdom with a child...
Have you ever seen the policeman
Answer the questions from a boy beguiled...

Have you ever seen the mother
Ask for food to feed her baby...
As the tourists stop and stare
“Should we give, yes, no, maybe?”

Will we ever know the answers
To all questions in our head...
Will our imagination keep us awake
As we lay there wondering in our bed...
