She was a loving mom…
A good wife, too…
She cared for her family…
There was nothing she wouldn’t do…

She had three beautiful boys…
Her little ducks in a row…
They were always together…
They loved their mom so…

Until one day…
When a man in a car…
Decided to drive drunk…
After leaving a bar…

He had lost his job…
His family was no more…
They had enough of his drinking…
And shown him the door…

Momma never saw him…
Completely out of her sight…
He crashed into their car…
After running a traffic light…

It happened so fast…
On that frightening day…
After their fateful moment…
He simply staggered away…

Their life was over…
Never to be the same…
They left a grieving family…
And a drunk with no shame…
