Karma

When feelings blow out of proportion
Because there is no healing potion
For all the excitement
turned into abandonment
Because wet tissues
Turn into trust issues
And theres not enough clothes
To cover my body made of walls
That I should have covered myself from the start
The only thing I can blame is my own heart
For not knowing sooner
That betrayal runs deeper
The meaning of Ohana
Is now a feeling of Karma
For letting people destroy me
And being so blind to see
That people are not what they seem
The emotions of an empath
With a traumatic past
run deep.
