A face amidst the hall of burning fire,
Waiting for someone with true desire.
The walls around burning in flames,
Sitting in wait for someone, insane.
I grabbed her hand and said let's go,
She refused and said, no.
It was just a matter of time,
Before it was too late to sit and whine.
I asked, who was it that made her wait,
And laid a trap and set a bait.
Never did she utter a single word,
That was looking very absurd.
I saw her one last time and turned,
Just in a blink, in the great flames she burned.
I turned and saw a corpse of ash,
Fading away, with the growing fire.
