Reverberating imperfections shade the glimmer of hope,
While the smell of death dilutes the billowing smoke.
Breath after breath we choke on our own existence ,
Why do we continue this game,
What’s with this unbridled persistence?
A blessing or a curse we shall never know,
In this bias world we live in we reap what we sow.
A personification of doubt with darker shades of sorrow,
Help us fathom today why we live for tomorrow.
A slave to our minds,
Shackled deep in this jail,
As we try to escape all we do is fail.
As madness consumes us we spiral away,
As we ask ourselves, where are our demons today?
