When the Sunshine gets lost
my spirit no longer shines
it continues to erode
as it darkens with time
Everything seems dull
to a mind so alive
I set things ablaze
to feel better inside
The fire excites
a flame burning bright
not feeling so lonely
as day turns to night
Within the darkness
stars commence to align
give me direction
they act as my guide
I've been lost a long time
searching for light
for forever it seems
living life blind
Unseen by others
falling farther behind
while I pretend
that everything is fine
My hope is not gone
this feeling is all mine
I guess i'll wait until tomorrow
to see if the sun shines.
