The Perfect

She's the god of altruism.
Powerful, Peaceful, Proper.
Precision in her every move
yet laid back and full of personality.
I'll admit, jealousy runs through me.

I'd call it admiration,
Or maybe something more.
Yet I cannot compare.
But, as they always say;
Opposites attract

A soft breeze. Arts and crafts
Lined across the cluttered table.
We work as peers. 'Nothing more'
I tell myself. Yet in my heart
I feel so
warm.

Yet the tainted can never reach heaven.
The fallen never prosper.
I'm destined for failure,
for belittlement,
for dread.
Yet still my heart beats heavy as i approach her light.
To the perfect.
