That's what my parents used to say.
It sounds fair, though if I may,
I can't entirely relate
To this unwitting lie.
"Important things" they're quoting to
Might not be all-in-all for you.
So go for what you wanna do,
No matter who says what.
Thus if you will to stay at home
And spend your lifetime on your own
Or wander in eternal roam,
Then have no doubt to act.

They have no right to say what's right!
So cast their principles aside -
Your life is yours to choose the side.
Go write your tale as you would write!
