Desire!!

Right behind the butterfly
The boy peddled fast enough
Past the road and rough
An object had caught his sight

Floral waves spread across
Toy wheels struggle past
To reduce gap and reach fast
But reaches only when the fly rests

Though the wheels get struck
In the sturdy clayey soil
The boy struggles and toils
To resume without respite

A flag shafted above the wheel
Flourishing high but uncolored
Wheels dragged as master favored
Sight favored only desire's sight

Fences and benches stood by
Flowers of Petunia and Baobab
The best choice to grab
Roots stronger in its flag

Now wheels run through sandy patches
Speed climbs, he staggers down
Mud smeared face denounced a frown
Smile never crept away from his face

The butterfly flew stretches away
A crow came and sat beside
The boy knew not what to decide
Still the ardor pumped in him

The butterfly waited on a branch
The boy would surely find
But the fly was not all; remind
The butterfly is not all
