It was my Thoughts

Drowning in despair and loneliness
That assailed and constricted his pulse
As surely as hate guided my trembling hands
Whispers fell from my lips in the hours of a sultry velvet night
I sought death for recompense
And to the one, all fear presented my demands

My desire that consumed his spirit
For the payment of debt being long owed
My fervent wish when the fading heart slowed
My revenge fulfilled by cruel words
At last, the day comes when he was no more

My inflamed colloquy hindered his perfidious blood
When the curse with bitter design was cast
Only then did his evil breath cease,
And the leviathan breathed his last
