Fallen Angel

I stood in the dew-laden rays of a waning moon
Beneath my breath uttered a magical ancient rune
Cast dried blood of a crow, Mugwort, and Ruda to protect me into a conjured fire
From my tongue came language known to only those who practiced the craft and expressed my desire.

Then added the bones of a wolf into the rising flames causing a blue glare
Blowing toad dust from my hands into the thick heavy air
I directed my thoughts to the one who would soon fall under my hands
And challenge them to oppose me if they dared

I possessed no amount of mercy
Nor compassion to give
Lay my curse upon them for the evil they have done to others
As punishment to forever relive

Tore the leaf from the bible where they had signed their name
The child's red book of righteousness that they had long forgotten that I had
So soon comes the day when what you've sown will return to your heart and home
And you shall pass from this life
Another fallen angel to descend into hell alone.
