The tides will turn

Barefooted upon the shore
i watch the waves silently die
after a long journey
across the ocean they fulfilled their duty
and to wave goodbye
though they manage to overcome
the many storms of difficulties
they remain faithful until the end
like footsoldiers armed with heavy weapons
they fail not to defend

like the turtles that come ashore
to nest their egg and return
father they are hatched
the turtle would return to the ocean
to continue a life of their own
this lesson of nature
tells mankind to have the same opportunity
-why is there a need to fight
this reminds me of whatever form
the soul takes birth into
we are the same true light

as the mountains come down
and new cities are built
the relationship of the turtles
will be broken with the wave
when they return for their space
they will not be accommodated
as the shore will be paved
oh how cruel mankind can be
to deprive our brother turtles
where they once occupy
what destructive message
we send to our children
when we see the innocent must die

why the sage choose not to be part
of this treasure hunt
and to be secluded far away
he alone understands
the love for the turtles
and why they feel betray
as a judge Mother Earth
consider this act as a serious crime
whoever is responsible
for this act of violence
will have to repay in time.
